Director/producer Andrew van den Houten is unleashing a series of webisodes documenting the production of his new Modernciné production OFFSPRING at various locations on the web, and Fango got the exclusive on the first one! You can check it out below, along with a new exclusive photo from the movie.
Scripted by Jack Ketchum from his novel, OFFSPRING (which we last reported on here) is about a small town that comes under attack by a flesheating tribe (including Spencer List as Rabbit, pictured). “I am so pumped to premiere the first of Moderciné’s OFFSPRING webisodes on Fangoria.com,” van den Houten tells us. “Fango is such a great place to track and stay on top of everything horror. As a fan of Jack Ketchum and all things blood, guts and gore, my hope is that these installments bring you closer to the experience that our cast and crew went through while making this gritty little horror film.
“My favorite part about directing OFFSPRING was by far getting to explore the world of cannibals through the lens of a camera,” he continues. “I hope you enjoy what you see, and I look forward to sharing more!”
