Rob Zombie hit his many MySpace pages hard over the weekend dropping H2 casting news and tidbits, along with news that the other "Tyler" - Bates that is, would be returning to compose the upcoming sequel to the remake's original score.
The first update arrived Sunday morning, as Zombie announced the casting of Ezra Buzzington (THE HILLS HAVE EYES, MIRRORS).
"Ezra has joined the cast of H2 as Ned Atkins - beer delivery man for The Rabbit In Red Club. Unfortunately Ezra's scene were cut from Halloween, so he had to come back and rock it again."
Later that evening, Zombie hit the blog again to announce the return of Tyler Bates.
"Tyler Bates has returned to begin work on H2. Fresh off his composer duties on DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL and The WATCHMEN. The man himself will begin work immediately on the soundtrack to H2. Expect a bold new direction for the sounds to make you shiver."
Zombie promises more casting announcements as early as today. HALLOWEEN II begins lensing next month in the Atlanta area, and is currently slated for an August 28th theatrical release. As always, keep your browser pointed toward FANGORIA.com for the latest news on H2 as we have it.
